Creative Hair in my Creative Lair

What a frustrating time I've had the last month and a half. My broadband connection has been causing havoc. Have spent hours on the phone with the providers and nearly gave up the will to live. Doesn't help that I am a complete ninny when it comes to computers either. It still isn't sorted and I seem to have horrible spyware on too.

I had my hair done. I wanted the same kind of colouring that the model, Giselle, has (unfortunately I look nothing like Giselle). I asked if I could have a just out of bed look (or shag-hair, as my brother likes to call it) when the hairdresser came to dry it, as I usually have it straightened and fancied something a little more relaxed. She curled my hair (most painful experience, as she's not a gentle girl, I had tears in my eyes) and I looked like a madonna helmet head. Apparently it will loosen, but not really the look I was going for. I certainly don't wake up in the morning with hair like this!

I have made a little bag today. Made up the pattern as I went along. Since I found out how to put lining in a bag, I can now really go for different designs. I am rather please with it. Me thinks it will be a present for someone!!

Have finished reading a delightful book, Wild Child, by Monica Furlong. I am dangerous around books as once I start reading the rest of life goes out the window until it is read. I sometimes have to abstain from picking up a book just so I can get stuff done.

Had an order of not one but two Cloth Paper Scissor magazine. What a treat! I ordered them from artvango.co.uk. I thought I would have to subscribe for a year, which I just can't afford in one go at the mo, but they said I could have single copies, so I ordered two!! Lots to do and read over and over again. The kind of magazine to dip in and out and never get bored with!
